Robert (Chip) Izard

Mr. Izard is a native Dallasite obtaining his BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and his MBA in International Business from Le Tourneau University. Mr. Izard spent the first 20 years of his career in the high tech industry beginning with Dell Computer where he was one of the “Dell Pioneers”. He completed his career at Pervasive Software where he ran the global business development group for their database and data integration division. Upon his retirement from High Tech, Mr. Izard decided to make a move into education, first with a Corporate Training company where he held the title of Vice President of Sales then onto his current role as the Program Administrator for the International Business and Trade school at Richland College. He is married with two children and enjoys traveling and golf in his spare time.

 

Mr. Izard works with the Sr. Vice President of Economic Development to facilitate business retention calls to local Richardson business. The purpose of these calls is to learn more about their business and make them aware of the services of the REDP. Recently he has been working on the Export Assistance Program to be launched by the REDP in the near future.
