Now Richardson is carving out a big section of the Telecom Corridor that it will call the Innovation Quarter — or Richardson IQ. The new moniker is part of the city’s effort to revitalize that area, which predates some of the new business districts farther north along U.S. 75. “We rebranded 1,200 acres on the east side of 75 from Campbell on the north to past Arapaho on the south and over east to Plano Road,” said Bill Sproull, president and CEO of the Richardson Chamber of Commerce. “This is the area the city approved a massive rezoning last December, and which we’ve gone through a visioning and strategic planning process for several years prior.” To read the full article on The Dallas Morning News's website, click here.
