Restaurant Update
New restaurants, retailers and retail service businesses that have announced or opened so far in 2008, included:
Callisto Bar & Grill, a sports cafe with billiards, darts, spirits and good food
in east Richardson, 1680 E. Belt Line Road, east of Plano Road.
Kabul Kabob’s at Buckingham Place Shopping Center, on the northwest corner of Plano Road at Buckingham Road and Paradise Mediterranean Grill at Polk and Texas Streets are the latest Middle Eastern restaurants.
The “panhandle” area of NE Richardson will have two new restaurants at Renner Road at North Star’s Breckinridge Corners II Center: Jimmy John’s Gourmet Sandwiches, one of the hottest new sandwich franchises with over 550 stores will open later this summer next to Nico’s Tex-Mex Cantina. 
Two new Vietnamese/Asian restaurants recently opened: PhoMac, located at 1851 N. Plano Road, just south of Campbell Road, and Saigon Block Restaurant at 2150 E. Arapaho Road, next to the Block 24 apartments.
