New Teacher's Luncheon To Kick Off School Year

There are just a few seats left for the Richardson Chamber of Commerce's 46th annual New Teacher's Luncheon. The luncheon, sponsored by Community Credit Union, is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 5 from 11:15 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Renaissance Hotel Richardson.

Columnist Steve Blow of The Dallas Morning News will deliver the keynote address, “Gold, Rubies and Teachers.”

Each year the RCC New Teacher's Luncheon helps kick off the school year by hosting the newest Richardson Independent School District (RISD) teachers. Produced jointly by the RCC Education Committee and the 1st Thursday Headliner Steering Committee, the New Teacher's Luncheon is the longest-running and largest event of the Chamber.
