Save the Date for the New Teachers Luncheon

Be sure to save the date for the 51st annual New Teachers Luncheon: Wednesday, August 12, 2009.  The event will be held at the Renaissance Hotel Dallas – Richardson and will feature a keynote address by Nancy Barry.  Barry is a world-renowned motivational speaker, Generation Y expert and author who has recently published the novel when Reality Hits: What EmployersWantRecentCollege Graduates to Know.

The New Teachers Luncheon is an annual event put on by the Richardson Chamber of Commerce’s Education Committee to welcome and inspire the incoming class of freshman teachers to the Richardson Independent School District.  The event typically attracts approximately 400 new teachers and over 300 business and community leaders who wish to thank teachers for the job they do and the community service they provide for our community’s youth.

To register for or sponsor the 51st annual New Teachers Luncheon, please contact Ryan Abrey at (972) 792-2816 or visit www.richardsonchamber.com.
