Best Real Brick Row, a transit-oriented village development by Winston Capital Corporation and L&B Realty Advisors, LLP, located next to the Spring Valley DART Station in Richardson, has been named a finalist in the “Best Mixed Use Development” category for the 17th Annual Dallas Business Journal’s Best Real Estate Deals of the Year Awards for 2008. The black-tie awards gala where the winners will be announced will be held on February 26 at the Westin Galleria.

Estate Deal Awards for 2008
Brick Row was nominated by the Richardson Economic Development Partnership, a joint effort of the City of Richardson and the Richardson Chamber of Commerce. The 30 acre project at Spring Valley/Centennial Blvd. and Greenville Avenue began construction in 2008 with the tear down of the Green Valley apartments and a group of single family homes along Greenville. Brick Row’s name comes from the historic name for Greenville Avenue, Red Brick Road, and will feature a 2-acre park and bike trails surrounding the historic McKamey Springs also on the site. At full build out the $140 million development will have 500 upscale mid-rise apartments, 150 luxury townhomes by David Weekley Homes, approximately 80,000 square feet of retail and office space, and 300 urban-style condominiums.
