REDP Received TEDC Excellence Award

Repeatedly recognized as a premier economic development organization, the Richardson Economic Development Partnership (REDP) was one of twenty-two organizations in the state of Texas who received the 2007 Economic Excellence award by the Texas Economic Development Council.  The winners of this award were announced at the 2008 Spring Conference held in El Paso.  REDP’s award was based on the following achievements:

  • Strong involvement with economic, real estate and industry professional organizations such as CORENET, ICSC, NTCAR, SEMI, C2ER, etc.
  • Economic development staff certification and recognition by relevant organizations
  • Well-organized and coordinated economic development strategies.

REDP was one of six communities in the DFW Metroplex who were awarded this designation.
