May 2008 This issue home | Past issues | Chamber home Summer Interns Needed The department of Communications and Events at the Richardson Chamber of Commerce is looking for two interns for this summer. Applicant for the web design intern position should have knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Familiarity with Dreamweaver is required. Web developer should also provide technical recommendations and consulting for the streamlining of file server organization and enhanced web integration. Specifically, applicant should provide guidance to implement longer-term migration of web ecosystem to a Java/PHP/ASP foundation. Search engine optimization knowledge would be helpful, but not required. Under direction, the event marketing support intern will develop and create marketing tools such as brochures, posters, and invitations for events, write press releases for the media, help organize media files, and be creative support for Director of Communications. Applicant should provide graphic design support for web content and collateral. Applicant should have knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator and be familiar with Dreamweaver.
