May 2008 This issue home | Past issues | Chamber home Over 140 Booths at Richardson Business Trade Show The membership campaign in April pushed the number of exhibitors in the Business Trade show on May 29 to over 140 booths. The trade show, presented by title sponsor Opportunity Bank, will feature a combination of long time and new members, feature presentations on key business topics, and be a tremendous opportunity for the members to showcase their products and services to the community. The Trade Show will be held at the Richardson Civic Center from noon – 7 p.m. The show is open to the public for a $5.00 admission fee. Food, refreshments and door prizes will be provided throughout the day by local restaurants and businesses. “It's an exciting event that the Trade Show committee has planned and it is shaping up beautifully. The 2008 Richardson Businesses Trade Show will be totally new and different from year's past!” exclaimed Cindy Korenman, one of the show’s Tri-Chairs. “The event will involve most of our small to medium businesses and our community at large in many ways. There will be many opportunities for the guests to interact with the businesses and gain valuable information.” Mayor Steve Mitchell and RCC President/CEO Bill Sproull will open the festivities with a Red Ribbon Cutting, followed by Precious Metal singing "God Bless America." There are a limited number of booths still available for the show at a cost of $100. Contact Suzanne Potter at 972-792-2817 to reserve your booth or to obtain more information.
