Exciting New Retail Developments

Callisto Bar & Grill

In 2007, the Richardson ED Partnership announced over 45 new retailers, restaurants and developments coming to Richardson.  For the 1st quarter of 2008, we are already at 16.  Here are some of the 2008 new retailers and restaurants or retail developments.

• Full Boar Cycles has leased the 21,000 SF building at 1621 N. Central Expressway on the north side of Humperdink’s Restaurant.  Full Boar is  open for business as the largest independent motorcycle dealer in Texas, specializing in pre-owned Harley Davidson’s
  
  
• Callisto Bar & Grill, a new private club leased 4,000 SF building and is now open for lunch/dinner.  Callisto is located behind/north of the Bank of Texas branch on E. Belt Line, east of Plano Road and east of Richardson Square.

  Tuesday Morning and the Dollar Tree

  
  
  
• Tuesday Morning leased 11,000 SF next to the Dollar Tree in Richardson East Shopping Center, east of Richardson Square.  TM moved over to Richardson from the vacant Minyard’s center in Garland.
  
  
• Murphy Plaza is a new 13,000 SF strip center now under construction on Murphy Road at E. Renner Road.
  
  
• A new Tex-Mex restaurant, Nico’s Cantina, will open soon at Breckinridge Corners II at North Star and E. Renner Road.  With this addition there will be 6 food venues at this intersection- 4 restaurants:  Kung Pow Asian Diner,   JK China Garden Buffet,  Schiano’s Pasta & Pizza and now Nico’s Cantina, in addition to take-out only Hungry Howie’s Pizza & Subs and the Jay's Donut Shop.

  Home Goods

  
  
  
• Andreas Italian Restaurant leased 5,000 SF in Dal-Rich Village Shopping Center.  They moved from North Rich Center on W. Arapaho   This new location will also have 2 party rooms for special dinners and events.  Opening mid-April
  
  
• Home Goods will open its next DFW area store in late summer next to the Sprouts Farmers Market in Pavilion East Shopping Center at Coit Road and W. Campbell Road.  Home Goods offers a wide variety of housewares, bed and bath linens, home décor items – see www.homegoods.com
