Gov. Perry Announces Rockwell Collins Expansion in Texas
Aerospace and Defense Company to Create 334 New, High-Paying Jobs
Gov. Rick Perry announced a $1.67 million Texas  Enterprise Fund (TEF) award to Rockwell Collins Inc. to expand their operations in Texas. The company will lease 90,000 square feet of space to accommodate growth at its facility in Richardson, create 334 new, high-paying jobs and invest more than $6.7 million in machinery and equipment for the new building.
“Rockwell Collins’ expansion and commitment to create more than 330 new jobs is a strong indicator of our state’s vibrant economy and business-friendly climate,” Gov. Perry said. “Thanks to strategic investment in businesses throughout our state, Texas continues to advance as a leader in high-tech design and manufacturing, which will play a key role in our state’s future.”

This marketing opportunity to promote your company is available on any of our RCC website pages or newsletter articles. If there is a particular event coming up that focuses on a topic related to your company's expertise, this is a good page to advertise on. If you are targeting a certain market, you can post your ad on our membership directory based on that category of business. If there is a newsletter article discussing a news item that relates to your business, an ad for your company would be a great addition. Include a link in your ad to drive traffic to your website.

51st Annual Banquet: Wednesday, Feb. 27th
Featuring keynote speaker Martin G. Foster, Executive Vice President Plan Operations and President of Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Entitled "Critical Condition: The Status and Prognosis for our Health Care System". Mr. Foster will give us insight into a subject on everyone’s mind these days, health care.
Additionally, announcement of the 2007 Citizen of the Year will be made by Richard Ferrara. Also recognized at this once-a-year event are the winners of the annual volunteer awards for Small Business of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, Committee of the year, Ambassador of the Year and Rookie of the Year.
