November 2007 This issue home | Past issues | Chamber home Broker & Developer Committee Holds Annual Bus Tour On October 12 the Richardson Chamber of Commerce’s Broker & Developer Committee hosted over 80 commercial real estate brokers and affiliated professionals on a 2 ½-hour tour of 52 Richardson offices, office-techs and land site properties. The tour, which began at the University of Texas at Dallas’s new Natural Science and Engineering Research Laboratory (NSREL), included a lunch hosted by PageSoutherlandPage and a mid-tour stop hosted by Maverick CommercialMaverick Commercial. Buildings such as the ones visited on this tour are some of the largest in the Richardson area. The NSERL is a facility of 185,000 square feet engineered specifically for wet and dry labs to conduct inter-disciplinary research. Maverick Commercial’s building at 930 E. Campbell is also extraordinary because, with almost 73,000 square feet, it is one of the largest technological spaces left in Richardson. The Broker & Developer Committee would like to thank its Luncheon Sponsor PageSoutherlandPage and its 2007 Series Sponsor TEXANS Commercial Capital for making 2007 a spectacular year. As the year winds down, the Broker & Developer committee is already developing some exciting plans for 2008. Special thanks to the tri-Chairs on the Broker & Developer Committee for 2007: Bill Rudd of Crescent Properties LLC, Chris Doggett of Fobare Commercial and Byron McCoy of Holt Lunsford Commercial.
