Successful Women's Networking Event at New Wafer Fab Building

Women in Leadership celebrated their first after hours event at the new Texas Instruments Wafer Fab.  On August 15th , the Richardson Chamber of Commerce and the Women in Leadership Division greeted over 90 guests. The City of Richardson was our   sponsor and Assistant City Manager, Michelle Thames, welcomed everyone

Ms. Kim Quirk, Director of Public Affairs for Texas Instruments, was both hostess and a tour guide, and she is also a committee member of the Women in Leadership.  The guests were treated to extensive tours of the facility, not all 1 Million square feet, but there were amazing areas to discover.

Nothing but Networking is a great and positive way to connect local business’s in a relaxed atmosphere. The Women in Leadership will host one more event this year, it will be held at UTD, in the Motion Capture Lab. Please visit our website for more details and to register your attendance.
