July 2007 This issue home | Past issues | Chamber home Richardson Young Professionals Have Arrived It is official! The Richardson Young Professionals (RYP) has started its program with a bang. After several after-hours events, membership benefits are now available to young professionals that live and/or work in Richardson. RYP is a professional development program aimed at engaging an emerging group of up and coming leaders who are committed to personal growth and career advancement while serving the Richardson community. The program consists of regular after-hours events, quarterly community service projects and special events for members only. With such a unique mission, the RYP will definitely be a program unlike any other young professionals’ organization in the area. The committee has high hopes for the success of this group and would like to offer its members more community involvement and more benefits than other groups. Membership is $90 per fiscal year and with that fee, members will receive admission to 10 after-hours events, 2 guest passes for any two after-hours events (must be used separately), an invitation to a President’s Club reception, admission to behind-the-scenes events and opportunities to volunteer within the community. The next after-hours event will be held July 24th at the Renaissance Hotel Dallas – Richardson from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Come join us for appetizers and drinks! Network, mingle, relax and get to know other young professionals in Richardson. For more information about the Richardson Young Professionals, please contact Randi Gordon at 972-792-2816.
