50th Annual Banquet To Feature TI Chief Executive

Rich TempletonRich Templeton, president and CEO of Texas Instruments, will deliver the keynote address at the Richardson Chamber of Commerce's 50th Annual Banquet on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at the Renaissance Richardson Hotel.  The 2006 Citizen of the Year will be announced and 2006 Chairman of the Board Paul Voelker will hand the leadership gavel to 2007 Chairman of the Board Richard Ramey.

Individual tickets are $80 per person and tables of 10 are $900. Each sponsored table will receive company signage and sponsor recognition at the banquet. A number of sponsorship packages are also available for the banquet ranging in price from $5,000 to $25,000.

Templeton became president and chief executive officer of Texas Instruments in May 2004 and serves on the company’s board of directors. He is credited with helping to define and execute TI’s strategy to focus on semiconductors for signal processing.

More than 600 prominent business leaders are expected to attend the annual banquet, which recognizes the Chamber members and their efforts in supporting the Chamber and the business community.
