On Sept. 27, 2006, the Richardson Chamber of Commerce’s 2006 Board of Directors elected new members of the 2007 Board of Directors and Advisory Board, while also selecting officers for the 2007 Board of Directors. During this election, Richard Ramey, regional bank president for LegacyTexas Bank, was chosen as board chairman for 2007. Ramey will succeed Paul Voelker, who served as chairman in 2006, at the Chamber’s annual luncheon early in 2007. The newly elected officers on the 2007 Executive Committee for the board are as follows:
Those chosen to begin serving on the 2007 Richardson Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors are Charlie Chen, president and CEO of Dallas/Fort Worth Technology, Inc., and Lori Demers, regional sales manager for Cisco Systems, Inc. “We are excited to welcome these new members to the Richardson Chamber Board of Directors,” said Paul Voelker, outgoing chairman of the board. “I know they will each bring tremendous ideas to help the Chamber enhance its program of member-oriented activities and services in 2007.” Chamber board members also selected new members for the 2007 Advisory Board, are as follows:
