48th Annual New Teachers Luncheon To Feature Prominent Dallas Entrepreneur
The Richardson Chamber of Commerce's 48th Annual New Teachers Luncheon, presented by Texans Credit Union, will honor more than 450 new Richardson Independent School District teachers on Aug. 3 at the Renaissance Hotel. Albert C. Black, Jr., founder, president and CEO of On-Target Supplies and Logistics, will deliver the keynote address.

Beer/Wine Sales Petition Submitted To The City Of Richardson
Richardson Residents for Quality Retail (RRQR) have announced the completion of the petition drive that expects to provide sufficient signatures of Richardson registered voters to put the issue of permitting the sale of beer and wine in Richardson’s grocery stores and some convenience stores on the Nov. 7 ballot.
On Friday, June 30, Texas Petition Strategies, hired by RRQR to coordinate the petition drive, submitted to city secretary, Pamela Schmidt, more than 13,000 signatures collected during the 60-day time frame. In order to be on the November ballot, 9,279 valid signatures of Richardson registered voters are required.

UTD Motion Capture And Virtual Reality Lab Helps City Land Leading Provider Of Real-Time, End-To-End 3D Solutions
MultiGen-Paradigm, Inc. (MultiGen), a wholly owned subsidiary of Parallax Capital Partners, LLC providing real-time, 3D visual simulation solutions for both civilian and government purposes, has announced that it has leased 12,239 square feet of office space in Richardson. The new office space, in the Granite 190 Center at 1301 W. President George Bush Turnpike, Suite 120, will serve as the corporate headquarters for MultiGen, effective June 25.
