Completion of the survey will provide the NTC with valuable labor market research that will help ensure a future workforce for the region that is skilled and competitive. All responses will be treated as confidential and the results will be compiled in aggregate with other respondents. The survey should take only a few minutes, and is a quick and easy way to contribute to the area’s workforce and economic development efforts. InterLink provides labor market research on potential growth or decline of occupations that secondary and post-secondary educators are considering for implementation of career and technical programs. Since 1987, InterLink has conducted the Occupations Survey for North Central Texas to determine what occupations are most needed by North Central Texas employers to ensure a future workforce that is skilled and competitive. The results of the survey are provided to North Central Texas school districts and community colleges, which depend on the information to council students on future careers, and to determine what courses need to be offered to prepare students with the skills and knowledge necessary for future jobs in the region. The survey includes data on hiring trends and occupations in highest demand. |
