Take A Look New Look At Richardson

Leadership Class Offers Challenge To Local Business Leaders

Leadership Richardson, the leadership development program of the Richardson Chamber of Commerce, brings together a cadre of emerging community and business leaders to encourage them to care for their community. Then, armed with a better understanding of Richardson’s strengths and weaknesses, participants make their own investments in its future through their leadership commitments.

Leadership Richardson provides a unique opportunity to expand one's horizons and learn of the many new ways to be of service to your community. In the 21 years of the program the objectives for Leadership Richardson have remained constant.  They are:

  • To identify and motivate emerging community leaders.
  • To acquaint participants with a local historical perspective and with current community dynamics.
  • To assist participants in identifying and addressing community needs, issues, and problems.
  • To develop personal and organizational leadership skills.
  • To challenge participants to increased community leadership

Applications for Leadership Richardson's Class XXII are now available and are due June 15. Applicants must live and/or work in Richardson or the Richardson ISD.  The Admissions Committee may select a limited number of participants who do not meet these qualifications.
