February 2006 • Volume 3, Issue 2 This issue home | Past issues | Chamber home Chamber Celebrates 60 Years Like the first wave of Baby Boomers who turn 60 this year, the Richardson Chamber of Commerce is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2006. A year-long observance is being planned and will culminate with an event in November. There are three primary goals of the observance: focus on the future, celebrate past accomplishments and their impact on the community, and raise awareness of the Chamber in the community. The theme will also focus on the Chamber’s leadership in the business community, entrepreneurship, Richardson’s legacy as a technology base, and the stability of the organization as the recognized representative of the business community. A committee of Chamber members is being organized to plan the celebration. Those interested in serving on the committee should contact Paul Bendel. |
