November 2005 • Volume 2, Issue 11 This issue home | Past issues | Chamber home Volunteers Needed For Chamber/RISD Career Summit On Jan. 30, 2006, the Richardson Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with Richardson Independent School District (RISD) will present the first Career Summit for 1000 RISD high school juniors. Throughout the day students will attend breakout sessions on a variety of topics designed to connect the world of school to the world of work. One of the break-out sessions will include an opportunity for students to visit with company representatives and learn about potential careers in a variety of industries. The event will be held at the Eisemann Center and the Renaissance Hotel. Volunteers are needed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Contact Nicole Newkham at 972-792-2816 for more information about assisting with the event or representing an industry.
