The Annual Banquet recaps accomplishments of the previous year, honors the Citizen of the Year and features a noted speaker at an evening banquet. A crowd of more than 350 attended the 48th Annual Richardson Chamber of Commerce Banquet on April 29, 2005. The theme for the evening was "Celebrating Entrepreneurship." Angelo R. Mozilo, chairman and CEO, Countrywide Financial Corporation, was the keynote speaker. Energy industry executive and community volunteer Mike Spence was named 2004 Citizen of the Year.
