Headquartered in Houston, ENGlobal Corporation (AMEX: ENG) provides engineering services and systems services principally to the petroleum refining, petrochemical, pipeline and process industries throughout the United States and internationally.
In September 2004, the company established a Dallas-area office for its ENGlobal Sulfur Group with 12 employees in 5,059 square feet of space at 275 W. Campbell Road in Richardson. Since then, the Richardson office has grown to 35 employees. With recent contracts in hand, the company recently leased an additional 9,164 square feet to accommodate expected growth to about 45 employees in the coming months, according to ENGlobal's Dallas-area General Manager Craig Ward. “ENGlobal Engineering is a full service engineering company working in the refining and petrochemical marketplace, dealing with the design, procurement and construction of processing units along with production and product pipelines,” said Ward. “The Richardson group is particularly focused on environmental requirements, including sulfur recovery units, tail gas treating units, amine units, and sour water stripping units. As a secondary line of business, the Dallas area office designs and installs Coke Drum Unheading devices. These devices are installed to improve safety and to reduce the operator's exposure to hot coke during the decoking cycle,” he added. “We continue to recruit engineers and designers with considerable experience in refining processes.
