The Richardson Chamber of Commerce held its first President's Club reception for 2005 on April 4 at the home of Jim and Gayla Von Ehr. Jim Von Ehr is the founder and CEO of Zyvek Corporation, a nanotechnology company in Richardson. More than 35 presidents and CEOs joined city leaders and U.S. Reps. Pete Sessions and Sam Johnson at the Von Ehr's to network and learn about what's going on in local and federal government. Hors de ouerves were provided by Woodstone Catering. The President's Club is a value-added membership that allows members to make a higher level investment to the Chamber which provides a membership, additional services/benefits and program sponsorships. One of the benefits of a President's Club membership is the opportunity to attend quarterly receptions hosted by business leaders for company presidents and CEOs and community leaders.
