February 2005 • Volume 2, Issue 2 This issue home | Action home | Chamber home Richardson Delegation To Lobby 79th Legislature As the Texas State legislators head into their second month of the 79th session, the Richardson Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for Richardson Telecom Corridor® Legislative Day on March 1-2. Legislative Day provides Richardson business leaders and residents the opportunity to visit the state capitol and better understand the legislative process. Individuals will have the opportunity to network with community leaders, hear from our local representatives and key state officials, attend committee meetings and visit various legislators. Regardless of current political involvement or affiliation, Legislative Day is a great opportunity to represent the Richardson community in Austin. Legislative Day is presented by the Public Affairs Committee of the RCC, in conjunction with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, the City of Richardson, Richardson Independent School District and the University of Texas at Dallas.
