February 2005 • Volume 2, Issue 2 This issue home | Action home | Chamber home REDP Initiative Promotes Local Restaurants "Dine Out In Richardson" Set For March 17-27 The Richardson Economic Development Partnership (REDP) has announced “Dine Out in Richardson,” a promotion to encourage people who live and/or work in the city to patronize Richardson's restaurants March 17-27. “This event will increase visibility and bring attention to Richardson's restaurants and the wide variety of neighborhood dining venues,” REDP President Bill Sproull said. “We want to provide a quality dining experience for our residents and visitors and help our restaurant owners increase their business.” The “Dine Out in Richardson” promotion will kick off Thursday, March 17 (St. Patrick's Day) and run for 11 days, including two weekends. Restaurants in Richardson are asked to offer specials or discounts during the promotion. A list of participating restaurants can be found on the city's Web site.
