December 2004 • Volume 1, Issue 14 This issue home | Action home | Chamber home Welcome Team Helps Bring New Members Into Fold As the first line of exposure and contact for many new members, the Chamber's Welcome Team attends ribbon cutting ceremonies for new and existing members. The mission of the Welcome Team is to bring high-level business people and members representing all segments of the community together for "mini-mixers" to meet, welcome and participate in the ribbon cuttings. Team members also serve to assimilate members into the Chamber fold and assist in getting them involved in the numerous events, committees, and programs the Chamber offers. Welcome Team members enjoy the opportunity to meet new Chamber members and fellow business owners face to face while creating high visibility and building rapport within the business community for themselves and their companies.
