December 2004 • Volume 1, Issue 14 This issue home | Action home | Chamber home 33rd Annual Christmas Parade Set For Dec. 4 The 33rd annual Richardson Christmas Parade, under the theme “We're All Kids at Christmas,” will kick off the holiday season on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 9 a.m. Parade entries range from floats and decorated vehicles to marching units. Thousands of participants representing all ages and aspects of the community are expected to participate and compete in a variety of categories. Awards will be distributed at 5:15 p.m. at Santa's Village (411 W Arapaho). If you are unable to attend the parade, be sure to catch the event on Comcast Cable channel 14A. Parade broadcasts will be Dec. 8 at 8 p.m. and Dec. 12, 19 and 26 at noon. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas is the title Rudolph sponsor for the event. Additional reindeer sponsors include Arboretum Estates Apartments, Christopher L. Barnes, DDS, Nortel Networks, Regions Bank, Richardson Regional Medical Center, Richardson Rotary Clubs, Sign-A-Rama and Texans Credit Union.
