Ambassador's Club members are highly visible and readily accessible at events such as PM Connections, EarlyNet, and First Thursday Luncheons. Members are always distinguishable by the red “Ambassador” ribbons that they wear. Participation as an Ambassador provides the volunteer with extended business contacts through active association with other volunteers and members, professional and community recognition for both the volunteer and their business, as well as expanded communication and marketing skills. “Being an Ambassador has enabled me to make key contacts and develop long-lasting relationships,” Willson said. “In my opinion, it is the best volunteer opportunity for members. Your contribution of time is equally rewarded.” The Ambassador's Club meets on the first Thursday of every month from 8-9 a.m. at the Chamber offices, located at 411 Belle Grove Drive in Richardson . To be considered for inclusion as an Ambassador, a current Chamber member in good standing must first attend a minimum of three meetings. For more information on the Ambassador's Club, please contact Ellie Jackson or Julie Neatherlin at 972-234-4141. |
