November 2004 Volume 1, Issue 13 This issue home | Action home | Chamber home REDP To Attend International Nanotech Forum The Richardson Economic Development Partnership will represent Richardson's growing interests in nanotechnology at SEMI NanoForum™ 2004 from Nov. 14-16 in Austin. The forum will bring together more than 500 key decision makers and technical experts from the semiconductor equipment materials and services industry and the nanotechnology world. The international conference is the first of its kind. Representing the REDP will be Sue Walker, vice president of corporate development. The REDP exhibit booth featuring Richardson, Texas, Home to the Telecom Corridor® will also be on display. REDP partners at the event include the School of Engineering and Computer Sciences at the University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), Page Southerland Page, a world-renowned architectural and engineering firm that is designing UTD's new 200,000 square foot research facility and Texas Instruments' $300 billion wafer fab, and Richardson-based Zyvex Corporation, a leading nanotechnology company. James Von Ehr, founder, chairman and CEO of Zyvex, will moderate one of the panel discussions during the three-day event.
