About Us

REDP is a joint initiative established by the City of Richardson and the Richardson Chamber of Commerce in 1984.  REDP is dedicated to building a vibrant and thriving local economy, by attracting new investment and jobs, through marketing and recruitment efforts and by working with existing employers.

Expansion/Relocation Assistance:

There is no charge for REDP services and all information remains confidential between a client and REDP.

REDP Services:
  • Broker and real estate referrals
    • All REDP referrals will be made to members of the Richardson Chamber of Commerce whose services match the company’s needs
    • REDP also provides introductions and referrals to landlords, architects, engineers, general contractors and other real estate-related services
  • Incentives information
    • REDP is the primary contact for companies considering a Richardson relocation or expansion
    • Upon request, REDP can provide an overview of incentive programs available locally and from the State of Texas.
    • Since all incentive requests are handled on a case-by-case basis, an REDP representative is available to discuss the possibilities and types of incentives that match a particular project
    • A request for incentives may be made by requesting and completing an REDP Incentives Application. Contact John Jacobs for more information.
  • Detailed site selection information and analysis
    • After determining the company’s real estate needs, the REDP can provide a list of all available properties which match the company’s criteria
